It is so sad and tragic that we have added this page to our website. But as our lives progress, death is an inevitable part of it. There is no greater loss than that of one's child. We dedicate this page to our classmates who have unfortunately experienced such a loss. You are all in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts.

Kenny and Britney
|
Another tragedy has struck our "family." Gwen Christie Gambill's son-in-law, Kenny Martin, was killed in an accident on Thursday, August 21, 2008. He was 26 years old.
About 6 p.m., Martin was in the truck’s bucket behind a Shell convenience store at Interstate 40 and N Banner Road when he started to check the operation of the bucket and its arms, Hawkins said. The bucket was in a raised position when the truck tipped over, throwing Martin onto another truck instantly taking his life. [The Oklahoman, Friday, Aug. 22, 2008]
Gwen's daughter, Britney, and Kenny had been married fourteen months. Kenny grew up in Gwen's neighborhood and had been best friends with Gwen's children for fourteen years. We extend our condolences to Gwen and Britney and the rest of their family. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

Terry Tidwell, Eddie Tidwell, Sarah Tidwell Jolley, Janis Poesy Fletcher, and Tyler Tidwell
|
It is with deep regret that we add the loss of another one of our children. Eddie Tidwell and Janis Posey Fletcher lost their son, Tyler Tidwell in a motorcycle accident on July 24, 2006 in Shreveport, LA just nine days after his sister, Sarah's, wedding. Tyler was born March 3, 1988 in Shreveport, LA. Tyler was survived by his son Austin Tidwell who was only 1 ½ years old at the time of Tyler’s passing. As Austin grows he looks more and more like his father which has been a blessing to the family. We extend our thoughts and prayers to all of Tyler’s family.

He left behind a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Chloe, whom he cherished.
